Encasillado por algunos críticos de arte como representante del hiperrealismo, ya que su técnica en el manejo del dibujo y el color se caracteriza por el amor a los detalles buscando captar en cada trazo la esencia misma de la realidad.


Con algo más de cincuenta años de experiencia en el arte de la pintura, en especial en la técnica de la acuarela, ha expuesto su obra dentro del ámbito nacional e internacionalmente; tratando de dar a conocer desde una perspectiva artística la innegable magia de su propio entorno representado por la arquitectura colonial, paisajes naturales, flora y fauna, así como escenas costumbristas propias de nuestro país.
